Raleigh-based Red Hat opens a new Innovation Labs in London, its first outside the U.S. The Innovation Labs are designed to put customers and Hatter experts side-by-side to "jumpstart innovation" and develop software solutions.

Jeremy Brown, director, Open Innovation Labs for Europe, Middle East, Africa, at Red Hat, notes:

“Red Hat Open Innovation Labs is about taking Red Hat’s open approach and providing it to customers to inspire a new way of working and equipping them to be able to bring change back to their organizations. We like to think of the labs as a start-up incubator for the enterprise, and we’re excited to have a dedicated facility in the heart of London.”

The other Innovation Labs are located near Silicon Valley and in Boston.

"With digitalization enabling new business innovation platforms, many organizations are looking to develop and integrate applications but may not have the tools to begin," Red Hat says.

"Red Hat Open Innovation Labs provides a prescriptive environment designed for customers to develop applications with speed, agility, scalability and increased security. During a Red Hat Open Innovation Labs engagement, customers can use microservices, deploy them in containers and deliver them using DevOps methodologies across physical, cloud and mobile environments to more quickly scale up or down on-demand and help meet new requirements."
